Deri Over 55 Club

The club is affiliated to The National OAP Association of Wales and is therefore represented on the Welsh Senate of Older People who campaign on behalf of pensioners.
We have been meeting as a group for over 30 years. Our aim is to encourage more people to come and enjoy the company and fellowship in our community.  We discuss ideas for trips and any celebrations that we would like to arrange e.g. coach trips, lunches out, St David’s Day buffet, Christmas and New Year parties.  Occasionally we invite people from other organisations to come and speak e.g. Age Concern and GAVO.  We generally complete our afternoon with a game of Bingo and a free raffle.  We also save our pennies and donate to Children in Need every year, in 2012 we donated £200.

Open 1:30-3:45pm on alternate Wednesdays.  £2 per meeting- next in Wednesday March 12th 2024
